CemeCon is globally represented with coating centres in USA, Denmark and China – since end of 2007 also in Czech Republic. From there, the Eastern European tool manufacturer branch is supplied with high-quality coating solutions. This creates customer proximity and short delivery times.
CemeCon manufactures coating systems for high-performance coating of precision tools and components in Würselen. In this area, the company is worldwide market leader. Moreover, at the site close to Aachen, experts are operating one of the largest centres worldwide for construction and manufacture of high-performance coatings.
Close to the customer
To keep delivery times and ways as short as possible, CemeCon has built a new coating centre in Ivančice (Czech Republic) close to Brünn end of 2007. With the four million dollar investment coating service approaches Eastern European customers such as Skoda, Bosch, Ina, Siemens and Audi. It is supposed to cover needs of tool manufacturers in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria and later also opens up additional markets, e.g. in Ukraine.
Since its beginning, the new coating centre runs very successfully and quickly establishes itself on the Eastern European market. Thus, CemeCon has increased its workforce from initially 10 employees to 15.
Coating service in Ivančice offers all products and the same tried and tested service like that in Würselen. Under expert supervision, the customer can construct for himself the high-performance coating exactly adapted to his applications and have his tools coated with this unique solution.
New plant creates jobs
Through the decision to build and operate the coating centre in Ivančice, CemeCon not only creates new jobs in Czech Republic but also in Germany. The plant in Czech Republic also will be equipped with systems from Germany. This synergy ensures both sites, the need of skilled personnel and boosts production.
